The size of the photobook is just right. It's fairly big and thick (134 pages of Super Junior!), but stays in conventional book dimensions - slightly larger than A4 - so it's easy to flip through and fits into a normal bookshelf. (Or am I the only one who gets peeved by strange-sized books that jut out?) Right now, it's on my office desk for easy access.

The making of DVD that comes with the photobook has no subtitles, but it has plenty of Super Junior and that's all that really matters. There are seven mini episodes from different shoots and locations with interviews, photo shoot footage, and various on-site clips and conversations. Highlights include excited airport arrival, a silly waiting-in-line-for-public phone skit, Sung Min serenading the camera with his guitar, Lee Teuk on piano, and - my personal favorite - half of Super Junior scrunched into shopping carts.

Perhaps the best perk of the purchase is the desk calendar. I was expecting just a small throw-in calendar (to join my growing bottom-of-drawer collection of flimsy artist calendars being coupled with every other album I buy), but it's actually nice enough to be sold on its own. The calendar is pretty big - around B5 size, only wider - and, again, comes on good stock paper. It runs for 13 months from December 2008 to December 2009, so there's one month and two photos for every member. I'm still bummed that SM didn't put out separate Super Junior wall, desk, and planner calendars like they did last year, but this calendar somewhat makes up for it, and the photobook is simply wonderful overall. Now I'm sad I missed out on the first season of Boys in City.
